Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 30, 2026
1. Who we are
Conversor is a website that converts and compresses files right in your browser. It is run by Roniel Santos, in Brazil. For any question about this policy, write to ronielljesuss@gmail.com.
2. What happens to your files
The files you choose are processed in your own browser. They are not sent to any server of ours or of third parties, and we have no access to them.
3. What is stored in your browser
The site stores two kinds of information, only on your device:
- History: the files you converted or compressed most recently (up to 50 items) are kept in the browser's storage (IndexedDB) so you can download them again. You can remove items one by one on the History screen, or erase everything by clearing the site's data in your browser settings.
- Language: the language you pick in the footer is kept in the browser's local storage so the site remembers your choice.
4. What we do not do
Conversor does not require an account and does not use tracking cookies or ads. To know how many people visit the site, we use Vercel's visit analytics (Vercel Web Analytics), which counts page views in an aggregated, anonymous way, without cookies and without identifying who visits.
- We do not collect your name, email, location or any personal data.
- We do not sell or share data, because we do not have any.
- We do not load third-party services: the font and every file of the site are served by the site itself.
5. Server, logs and counter
As with any website, the server that hosts Conversor may record technical access data, such as the IP address and the time of the visit, in security and operation logs. This is done by the hosting provider and is outside the site's control.
File counter: when a conversion finishes, the site sends the server an anonymous request to add 1 to the total shown in the footer. No file, file name or content is sent. To prevent abuse, the server keeps for up to 1 minute an identifier derived from the IP address (a scrambled code, not the IP itself) solely to limit the number of requests; it is then deleted.
6. Children
The site collects no data from anyone, including children. Minors should use it with a parent or guardian's guidance.
7. Your rights
Under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to know what data is processed, correct it and delete it. Since Conversor does not store personal data on its own servers, you control everything in your browser (history and language). If you have questions, write to ronielljesuss@gmail.com.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date of the last update is at the top of the page, and the version published here is always the current one.
